How Do I Remove Super Glue?

Have you ever had the problem of getting super glue on an unwanted surface? We are going to look at some ways to possibly remove it.

If there are surfaces such as kitchen counters, glass tables, and ceramic tile that have the unwanted glue on them, use nail polish remover to get rid of the unwanted glue. Dip a cotton swab into the nail polish remover and apply this solution to the glue. Then rinse the area with warm water. Keep in mind that the longer it is on the surface, the more likely there is for discoloration.

Vegetable oil can be used to remove the glue from the skin. Over a sink, pour the vegetable oil directly onto the glue, and then rub the bonded skin gently until the glue has been removed. Wash the spot with warm soapy water.

Super glue can be removed from metal surfaces with lighter fluid. Moisten a cotton ball with lighter fluid, and then rub onto the surface in order to remove the glue. Then wash your hands and the metal surface.

Rubbing alcohol can be used to remove super glue from plastic surfaces. First, dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol, and then apply this to the glue on the plastic surface. Once the glue softens, wipe or rinse the plastic thoroughly.
