The site also recommends the following maintenance measures: o In late winter or early spring, apply lime, if soil pH is below 6.5. o In late spring or early summer, apply lawn fertilizer and insect control, if necessary. o In late summer, apply lawn fertilizer and insect control again. o In early fall, apply winterizer or winter conditioner, and specialized Saint Augustine lawn fertilizer.
