What is Bermuda Grass?

Answer:
Considered by some to be one of the best Southern climate
turf grasses, Bermuda grass is a sun-loving perennial grass it is tough as nails.

Found most often on golf courses, sports fields, in parks, and recreational areas, Bermuda grass withstands high traffic and rough treatment.  This full sun sod grass is a real crowd pleaser with its tolerance to drought and it low-growing habit.  Unlike other varieties of grass that brown easily when mowed too closely, Bermuda grass can be mowed very close without damaging the grass blades.  It is also very quick to mend from pet spots and insect damage.  One downside to Bermuda grass is its tendency to turn brown as soon as the weather begins to cool.
