What does a Carpenter do?

Answer:
There are few  jobs today that can boast a history
as long as carpentry, with recorded records that span millennia rather than just centuries.  Carpentry itself is a craft that has been passed down from generation to generation, with a carpentry apprentice taking years to earn the title of Master Carpenter.

Carpenters are a highly skilled group of professionals who specialize in just about everything made of wood.  Today, many carpenters can be found in construction, working to frame houses , install kitchen cabinetry , and install wood flooring , as well as build other wood items like entertainment centers and built-in shelving units.  There are still those old fashioned artists who take their craft to a higher level with wonderfully ornate pieces of hand-carved furniture and beautifully designed wooden accessories that add a touch of warmth to every room.
