What are the top tools do-it-yourselfers and remodelers use? |

Answer:
Whoa! My list of important tools is a little Top 10 tools in my tool box and trailer (in no specific order....they're all 1's) 1. Planer (corded, cordless, block plane). It allows you to shave a desired depth of wood off of almost any lumber. 2. Table Saw. A circular saw will work, but it's rarely as perfect as a table saw. 3. Nail Sets. Allows you to countersink nails without beating on the wood itself. 4. Quick Clamps. You can never have enough of these. Tons of uses. 5. Wire Strippers. Easier then a utility knife when doing electrical repairs. 6. Chisels. You should have some cheap ones and nice one. Chisels come in handy often but use the cheap ones when you aren't using them exactly as intended. 7. Wire Sniffer. Allows you to check wires for electrical current. 8. Jig Saw. Allows you to cut curves in wood and gives you more control then other saws to make standard cuts. 9. Air Compressor. Opens up a whole new catalog of tools you can use. 10. Bucket Buddy. It is inserted into a 5 gallon bucket and is covered in pockets and pouches. It keeps your tools organized, visible and is easy to carry around. Top 10 was hard. It should have been 20. Maybe I'll revisit this topic another day.
