What does a Brick Mason do?

Answer:
Often called stone masons, brick masons
are the artists of the mortar, stone, and brick world.  Whether laying cinder blocks, conventional housing bricks, glass blocks, structural tiles, or terra cotta blocks, brick masons use mortar and other substances to erect or repair walls, arches, partitions, sewers, and other stone and brick structures.

In home construction, brick masons also install fireplaces, chimneys, and stone walkways.  Beyond the manmade block and brick, many brick masons also are qualified to cut natural stone like granite, marble, and limestone for more expensive homes.  No matter what the materials, brick masons add beauty and value to the home as they apply their skill.
