Exterior plywood uses a glue that withstands exposure to moisture, allowing it to be used for all sorts of outdoor projects. Interior plywood, also known as furniture grade plywood, does not withstand moisture as well and is typically used for furniture applications. Structural plywood tends to have the lowest grading and is used underneath other materials to offer structural strength, while marine plywood focuses primarily on bonding with the highest moisture resistance.
